Hello From the Otherside
During my teenage years, I recall an incident that occurred on a school holiday. While attending to my laundry, I heard a woman say "hello" near the entrance door, which was open at the time. Responding with a "hello?", I looked outside but found no one there; it seemed impossible for anyone to have vanished from sight that quickly.
Resuming my task, I approached my bedroom when I noticed a shadow through the crack of my bedroom door. The figure appeared to be that of a woman, identifiable by the outline of an A-line dress or skirt and shoulder-length hair. Frightened, I threw my towel over the bedroom door, grabbed the house key, and hurried out of the house. Realizing I had forgotten my bus fare, I chose to walk and wait for my parents to return home rather than re-enter the house.
Upon their arrival, I recounted the experience to my parents, who informed me that a woman had previously died in our home.
Sometime later, my mother was on her way too bed she opened the bedroom door to a woman laying in her bed, the woman had brown hair above shoulder length. My mother knew what it was so she quietly closed the bedroom door, turned around went back to the kitchen, wait five minutes, returned to the bedroom, opened the door and was relieved there was no body in her bed any longer.
Both myself and my mother think this is the same woman we saw.
